Eddig hálni járt belém a lélek, most már fel is kel! Sok minden történt velem az utóbbi héten, de mint látszik, akkumulátort cseréltem a lantban (jajj szegény Arany János Letészem a lantot című verse…), és megint írok.

Az írásaimból kiderülhetett, hogy imádok kommunikálni, magyarul elég ízesen tudok, azonban az angol jóval nehezebben megy, le is maradtam a fordításokkal. De meglesz, ígérem! Múltkori skypeos beszélgetésünk alkalmával megdicsért a barátom, aki mellesleg nyelvtanár, hogy egész jó a fordítás…

A második elemvásárlásom az új-zélandi vaterán (trademe.co.nz) végre sikerrel járt, a karórám újból működik, 20 dollár plusz a csere ára helyett 5 dollárból megúsztam…volna, ha az első nem veszik el, így 10 dolláromba fájt az áramforrás pótlása. Közben Hongkongból megérkezett egy másik próbavásárlásom eredménye, két darab original Nikon objektívvédő kupak és egy Lenspen objektívtisztító toll, ingyen szállítással 30 dollárért. Ha valakit érdekel, szóljon, adom az eladó boltjának linkjét! Minden pöpec, úgyhogy ettől az eladótól fogom beszerezni az 52mm-es polárszűrőt és a 67-es sima UV szűrőt. Pokoli jó áron árul, a zélandi árakhoz képest körülbelül a feléért.

A hét elején kiderült az ég, illetve az, hogy az általam támogatott ügyfél látogatóba jön. Jajj, majd igyekszem autentikus tudásúnak tűnni, bár már egész jól összekovácsolódtam az ausztrál kollégákkal. Együtt örülünk a sikereknek! Sikeres lett a héten az első export-import SAP mentésem tape librarys környezetben, működik a DNS és a reverse DNS konfigurálásom négy domainkörnyezetben, tudok mentéseket ütemezni, ütemezést törölni, szerkeszteni, illetve megfejtettem a miért halt meg az adatmentés HP Data Protectorban című folytatásost is! Szóval fontolva haladok, mint Széchenyi, de eredményeim radikálisok, mint Kossuthé!

A régebbi ismerőseim tudják, hogy semmilyen szerencsejátékot nem űzök, teljesen absztinens vagyok ezen a téren, egy kivétellel: tőzsde. Egy rövidebb idejű hallgatás után újból OTP certifikát tulajdonos lettem, abban bízom, hogy emelkedés várható, tehát long papírjaim vannak. Az otthoniakra sokat gondolok, mert noha nekem általánosságban jó, ha gyenge a forint, mégsem szeretnék ilyen áron gazdagodni! A lakótársam mondta, hogy nézzem meg, a hónap végére mindig elszáll az euro, mert a bankok ilyenkor vonják a törlesztőt. Nem tudom, hogy ez áll-e a háttérben, de tényleg úgy tör fel az euro ilyenkor mintha duplán erektált volna. Aztán lelohad (refrakter stádium :). Kovi mozgatja a piacot??

A csapaton belül nagy változások vannak, jött új ember, ment el régi. A régi elmenővel kávézás közben trécseltünk és kérdeztem tőle, hogy szerinte mi a legfontosabb a szakmai karriernél. Azt mondta, hogy az attitüd, illetve az is lényeges az elvégzett munka minősége mellett, hogy a csoportvezetőnk tisztában van-e a munkánkkal. Továbbá érdemes időközönként elbeszélgetni a felettesekkel, hogy ők mit látnak, mi az, amit jól csinálunk, és mi az, amit szerintük nem. A certifikációk nem lényegesek, a sok éves tapasztalat fontos, de nem kizáró ok a hiánya.

A héten lovagias is voltam kétszer, azaz háromszor. Egyszer egy lánynak adtam vissza a buszra felszálláskor elveszített diákigazolványát, máskor egy néninek átadtam a helyemet a buszon és végül mélyen belenéztem a munkahelyemmel szembeni kávézó helyes pultoslány szürke szemeibe! Jó érzés volt mind, a harmadik eset(t) a legjobban… :) ~ ugye érzékelhető az utolsó mondat többértelműsége.

Circumstances have been making me upset and have been miserable but now there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Lots of things have happened in the recent weeks in my life but managed to renew myself and recover from the dispiritedness!

If you followed me and spent time with reading this blog that might have been out I am keen on communication. In Hungarian I am really good at it with special tasty style but on the other hand English translation is harder than expected and it triggers delays off.

But anyhow I do not give up and it is going to be accomplished, trust me! During the latest skype talk my friend - he is definitely an English teacher - gave full marks me on the translations, they were quite good – he said.

My second button-battery purchase (to my wrist-watch) at last ended with success on the NZ auction site (trademe.co.nz). The watch has started working again. Basically I would have done the battery replacement by 5 NZD instead of 20 NZD or more (this was an offer from a shop for the battery itself and some more dollars for the replacement) but the first battery I had purchased was missed during the delivery that is why I paid 10 NZD for both. In the meanwhile I have received another package from Hongkong (as a result of a test buying of mine) including two Nikon rear caps and a Lenspen lens cleaner pen. I paid 30 NZD altogether for them. I am satisfied with the items and seller was so fair that I had decided to buy another 52mm polarised filter and a 67mm UV filter from his shop. He gives bargain price, roughly on half price of NZ offer.

At the beginning of this week not only the weather took up but also I was informed (it turned out) about my customer’s visit for the next week. Huh, I will try to provide authentical knowledge although Australian colleagues know the reality. We are delighted at the success together! This week my first SAP backup export and import in the tape libraries ended successfully, my DNS and reverse DNS configuration has been working fine in all the four domains, I was able to schedule, delete, reschedule SAP backups and I found the root cause of the backup failure in HP Data Proctector.

Although I spend more time with preparation and thinking, moreover implementation takes longer, results justify my right!

My friends with better knowledge about me know I am not a gambler, never played gambles except one: trade. After a shorter break I bought OTP (bank) stocks again, I wish in „bull” for the future, not „bear”. I have been thinking a lot about the people living in Hungary, because if Hungarian forint depricates against EUR or USD then my incomes are up but to be honest I do not want to be rich by this way! My flatmate told me to take a look at the rate of HUF at the end of the months and see rate of HUF eases off against EUR every occasion probably because banks gathers the redemptions that time..

I can not decide what we have behind, but (it is) more than strange that the same process happens usually at the end of the months…

There are big changes within the team, we have a „newcomer”, deputy of the „old” colleague who left the company. During coffee break we were talking and I asked the ex-coll opinion about the best way to have a successful technical career. He said the most important thing is the „attitude” and qualified work is even basic thing. Furthermore it is really important that the teamleader knows what you are working, what you are doing. It is well worth having meetings with the chiefs regularly to get their feedback what is good, what is not. Technical certifications are not rather emphasized but it is good if you have any, long term experience can be a strong point but not mandatory.

This week I had two, I say, three times to behave as a real knight. Once I gave back a student identity card to a girl what she lost during getting on the bus, another time I gave up my seat to an old lady and finally I deeply looked into a pair of beauty grey eyes wearing by a pretty girl. She is working in a coffee-room just opposite of my workplace. It was fine to do all of them but the third was a real buzz! :)
